Here is my opinion on the big thing in life: journaling.
Journaling is something that so many people do, but at the same time, so many people don't. I am one of those who do, and I am here to tell you that it is the best thing that has happened to me in life. It really flips your perspective of other people, things, and opinions. You become more open and notice little things you would have never seen before. You see those things, and you write them down. You remember them. You treasure them. They help you grow, and you realize how much better life is, now that you see it with new eyes.
When I journal, I reflect on  things that sparked my imagination or my mind. Stuff that made me think. Sometimes that stuff make me mad, and sometimes it it makes me excited. Take last night for example: I found my second grade memories book. it was funny reading all the words I misspelled and thoughts I thought. I also saw pictures of kids in my second grade class who were up in front of everyone else, singing "Happy Birthday," or writing about how they remembered that I loved bunnies and "fuzzies." We were all friends. Those kids I saw grew up, and many of them, in seventh grade, began to hate. They talked about how "I hate so-and-so, she is so ugly! Oh my God! You are so right!" BLAH BLAH BLAH!!!! ACK!!!! I wrote down these feelings I had, and I scribbled all over the page, wrote really big, when I became angry. I am proud to have the "kind, considerate, and happy" label. Why is there even such a thing as the "mean" label!!
Anyway, I am getting very off topic. JOURNAL. Release your anger on the page, and preserve your happiness on the page. It's a mood swinging sort of writing. And it is all YOURS.

When we are doing something we don't enjoy (like work), sometimes we set our mind to the fact that it is miserable. We don't allow the joy of doing the work to come through; we shut it out and focus on the bad side of working. Take yesterday for example: I had to take the dog out. Now, it is WINTER here. We have about five inches of snow, and it is COLD. So, naturally, I wasn't happy to have to go outside. But I was sick of listening to the dog bark at me, so I ran her out and stood in the snow, begging her to do her thing fast. And then I heard he birds. I was surprised, because it is February, but they were there, singing like it was spring. That little birdsong halted my complaints and helped me realize the joy of being outside in the fresh air. Suddenly, the air didn't seem so cold and the snow seemed whiter. I was happy to be outside.

Look for the good things when you are annoyed, miserable, or unhappy. It's probably not as bad as you think.

There's always a way to make the most boring things in life entertaining and inspiring.

I recently found out about "mail art," where you decorate or make an envelope and send a letter through the mail. (Yes, the mail, not email) There is a whole network of mail artists throughout the world, all intertwined my their love for art and letter writing.

The postal system, when you think about it, is an amazing thing. Millions of envelopes get sorted in post offices all around the world, and somehow end successfully at their destination. But, a lot of that mail is JUNK mail. Getting a genuine letter in the mail today is something to be treasured. And people think, "I wish I got more mail like that." Well, the truth is, the only way to receive a letter is to send a letter. A real letter; not a 25 cent birthday card from the drug store. Write!!! People want to hear what you have to say. When you wrap that writing in a work of art, it becomes even more special. Because that is MAIL ART.

The title says it all: Life is a game. But what's the fun of whipping through it without giving any meaning to it? Life is to be cherished, and to be built up to match your dreams, but most of all, Life is to be lived. This blog will show the little things, which are always the best things, that will give your life a little boost. You will laugh, you will create, you will grow in Life, and one day you will sit back and realize, "I've been inspired!" And don't worry if you feel the goosebumps; they're just telling you that something has a deeper meaning than what you see on the the surface. The goosebumps are speaking to you: listen.That is the feeling of inspiration. Learn to love it, and the word Life will be music to your ears.
